No brunch would be complete without crazy toe socks.
BONUS(ES):
This is the story of our search for the perfect Christmas tree...
First stop: Christmas tree farm.
Looking like it's straight out of a movie.
It's beginning to smell a lot like Christmas.
And look like it too.
But our tree wasn't here.
Not even this cute little tyke.
Second stop: Wal-Mart.
Not nearly as pretty.
But still lots of trees to choose from.
Mel was not impressed.
Neeeeeext.
Third stop: Kroger.
I mean, they DO have the "freshest trees in town."
And a fresh tree we found.
Along with this sign saying we had to load the tree ourselves.
Eeeeek!!
Have no fear.
We got it in the car.
And out of the car.
And up the stairs.
And in the tree stand (which is a LOT harder than it looks).
And finally inside the apartment.
Isn't it gorgeous?
Totally worth all the effort.
Me and Charlie.
Awwww!!
Thanks to Mel for mastering the art of pet photography.
